Book Fair!!!!!


Our bookfair is opening the night of Open House on Tuesday, September 21st. It will run through October 6th. It is open during 7:20am-3:15pm. Please remeber that there will be sales tax added to all purchases. Thank you for supporting our school!

Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl


The competition was wonderful and all our students had fun! We did a great job representing Talors Creek and performed really well! We earned 310 points; a huge increase from 80 points last year. Congratulations to our team!

AR is ALIVE at Taylors Creek!



Wow! Great work on promoting our new AR goals to our students! These bulletin boards and other pictures really show how we communicate with students their reading levels and their point and percentage goals!



Media Festival Project!

Media Festival pojects are coming up and the school due date is March 2nd. Thank you to everyone that is thinking or implementing technology in your curriculum. Our second grade classes are collaborating with the media center to create digital storybooks that ae based on "The Mitten," written by Jan Brett. Here is the first one that is completed- good job Mrs. Nicholson's Class!!!!

New Netbooks!


Our school has recently received 60 new netbooks! There are 30 stationary netbooks in C31 and 30 netbooks in a rolling cart. That cart can be checked out a day at a time and every student may have a netbook in the classroom for the day. Please take advantage of this new lab!
